Gainful employment
Just got off work.
It feels good to say that. Tonight was the first time I've had a job since last summer's swim season and having in income finally is totally sweet. Not much of an income since the pay period ends tomorrow, but whatever. Student Center Building Attendant is not bad. Did some lifting and moving, some renting pool equitment, some phone answering, all pretty much expected. Tonight I met and worked with Dyron (manager, funny guy) Cynthia, and Maria from my children's lit class (also funny, little hyper). I like 'em.
Yesterday Leanne came down and I spent most of my post recitation time hanging out with her and aT at my place. Damn fine way to spend a rainy afternoon.
Tuesday was just jam packed: Wake up, go to math, go to ultimate for two and a half hours, go to history for three hours, poker at Stout's, playing apples to apples in West (never played before but had a lot of fun and did well), and watched the first episode of Firefly in South (must burrow from Foster when Tim is done with it).
