Holmestice fic recs
holmestice is almost finished posting and I'm feeling rather pleased with myself: I got a wonderful gift this year. It's not only full of everything I love, it's also really very well written (which is just as important, of course, sayeth the pedant). It's a gentle, slow-burning, not-quite-platonic Holmes/Watson.
I've been very lucky twice in a row, actually. Last year's fic by mistyzeo was also one to go back and enjoy again and again.
So go read them!
In other news, the Other Half is in full Holmes/Watson-fic-translating mode, a few steps behind me while I write the thing. He seems to be enjoying himself so far, but he doesn't know about any of the really slashy bits I have planned yet ;D I'm quite looking forward to seeing how he gets on...
