O, never will I trust to speeches shuffl'd
Nor to the motion of a lady's tongue,
Nor never come with perjury to a lady's eyes
Nor descry honest vows with certainty
O sweet Maria, let us atone for our adore
Indulging in the shameless stars pour'd
For when Love spoke, the voice of all the gods
Made heaven cast a thousands sighs of jealousy
Right the joyful of her wounding betrayal
With groaning laughter; another woeful tryst
And Men with welded swords scolded in agony
Bruised by her Lovers and forfeited testimony
Behold our trembled patience for passion
In the highest pleasure that could not last
Possessed thru the descending sought goodness
And cripled grasp of my loyalty to come
