This was in the New York Times today. Verizon is going to be sharing phone information with advertisers. To opt out of this, call 800-333-9956. I just did it and it barely took a minute. For the full article, go here.

ok so I don't have Verizon, but wtf is this about:

"But if they do not do so within 30 days of receiving the letter, Verizon said it would assume they want their information shared."

What the fuck. Show me someone who wants the extra advertising and dumbass phone calls.
