Hahaha yes. When I was writing this I was almost like, this is only fair. James made Kendall learn how to sing and Kendall now has to teach James to accept his pretty. I was going to make them companions, but I really wanted Kendall's dad to be around because, um, well, he never is in my stories. So they're kind of but not really.

Awwww, yay. Dude, don't worry, you cannot be a worse influence than Kendall's face.

OMG JAMES' LUCKY COMB :D :D :D :D This whole thing absolutely DELIGHTS me. I'm such a sucker for backstory fics, and this is just the cutest and sweetest without being over the top at all.

Asjdjkahdjsafjk why so perfect? I really hope you don't get tired of hearing the same thing over and over again from every reviewer, but GOD you're such an amazing writer. The fluidity of this is so perfect, and the story fits SO well with the characterization of both James and Kendall.
And James' mom telling the neighbors that he's a girl, forcing him to run around naked to prove that he's a boy? Yeah, I have a new headcanon about baby James now thanks to you ♥

This review isn't even a quarter as detailed as I want it to be, but god there are just no words coming to my head right now. It was fantastic.
