Ugh, it’s CD shopping time again. I think I love Kesha so much it’s time to show my devotion through hard currency, and I don’t know how Bloc Party and Sleigh Bells ended up all over my iPod, but apparently they’ve invaded. Idek why, Bloc Party sings songs about cancer (at least Signs and Biko are still not as depressing as Casmir Pulanski Day, ty Sufjan Stevens) and dancing and social status, and I can’t understand half of the lyrics in ninety percent of Sleigh Bells songs, wut? (for the record, I feel the same way about Passion Pit, but with the added bonus of being exceptionally annoyed by everything they do, and yet I’m still half in love with them rn as well because of Smile Upon Me).

I’m trying to do this thing where if I legitimately love three songs by any artist, I buy their CDs. The only exception being rap/hip hop artists, because the ones I like are usually so prolific they have eighty CDs full of songs that I both like and hate. I could just go the easy route via iTunes, but I hate paying for digital things. It’s no fun if I can’t hold something in my hand. It’s actually a pretty good system- I’ve paid more for music in the last year than I have my entire life, and I think I’ve gotten, um, seven CDs? Eight? Soon to be more. I’m still hedging around some other bands. That said I've got twelve items in my amazon shopping cart rn and ten of them are CDs. I'm trying to figure out whether I'm willing to pay $140 for all this crap. Probably not. Some things will be left behind.

Um, there's actually going to be one more quick post after this shit. I apologize for spamming.
