You're Fun, You're Easy- No! Not That Kind Of Easy
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Rookie Blue! This show seriously cheered me up, and I've only watched two of the four episodes! My mom didn't DVR this one for whatever reason failfailfail I depend on her to record all new shows, and she skipped it! and I kept looking at the commercials going, hey, this looks a lot like Grey's Anatomy.
So I had to go into the free TV to watch Rizzoli and Isles because mom missed recording that but saw it and claimed I'd like it- serial killers and Boston, man, what's not to like? Although, have to say, I was not super impressed with that show- I didn't hate it or anything, and I'll probably keep watching, but I didn't love it to bits like like like ROOKIE BLUE.
Because it was like Grey's Anatomy, it was. Replace five medical interns with five rookie cops, insert a delish homicide detective, a very very very hot trainer/detective, and a weirdly hot but kind of deformed looking undercover cop and you have a recipe for fake-Grey's. But it's still just as good, I mean, obviously, that was a recipe that works. They even have a bar they go to, just like Joe's! And okay, Andy is not insta-friends with a Christina like character and there is no dark and twisty looming in the distance (that I can see?), but she is a legacy, and there is a super bitchy Izzy-like character who is actually a lot hotter than I ever thought Katherine Heigl was- I never really liked her face much.
Every time I talk about Grey's Anatomy I think about the South Park/Jonas Brothers episode and feel vague shame, but then I remember the syphilis episode and feel all better.
PLUS OKAY GUYS BATTLESTAR GALACTICA IS NO LONGER ON THE AIR I NEED SOMETHING TO MAKE ME FEEL COMPLETE
