Wow, so I haven't read manga in quite a while. Like, four months, if not more. So I had Zange, or A Confession Of His Own Guilt dl-ed (I have a lot of shit downloaded, but it just sits and waits for me to read it with my nonexistant time) and since I had a day off today, I decided to read it.
I'm kind of blown away. It was really porny, which okay, not exactly my cup of tea- but the relationships were so creative! Like, uncomfortable but still...idek- artistic? Wrong word, but I'm tired, so forgive me.
There are three stories- the first and most disturbing revolves around a boy who was molested when he was young. He fights back and injures the person who molested him. Later on he discovers one of his teachers has an indentical injury (in high school, I believe). He actually falls for the teacher; it's kind of strange at first, because he's all 'I forgive you'. Then later there's all this I hate you, you ruined me drama that's absolutely squickfully horrid, but kind of tragically beautiful. The second story is about a college guy living in his brother's apartment where his brother's friend is freeloading. Eventually you find out the guy is actually in love with his brother (who's supposedly travelling, but is actually just avoiding him) and ends up pursing a relationship with the other guy. The third story is more lighthearted, about a boss and his employee/son-in-law.
The point of this post is actually less go-read-this-now and more wow-Japan-you-continue-to-surprise-me-even-when-I-thought-South-Asia-now-owned-my-affections.
