YAY!
I finally scraped enough money together (along with the judicious use of a 50% off coupon) to buy my ariel fabrics! Huzzah!
Also bought on this perfectly annoying JoAnn's trip was the material for Wicked Lady/Black Lady. Off the flatfold rack too!!! *dances with joy over cheapness*
they closed a main road by my house to flush hydrants or something, so it took me 25 minutes to get to JoAnn's instead of 8 like normal. thus the annoyance. GAH!
In other news, I had my Bridal Shower over the weekend and got lots of stuff. I somehow managed to get 4 sets of measuring spoons, and three cannister sets. oh well, yay for gift receipts.
It was overall a good time, I got to see some ladies from church that I never see anymore. My best friends were all there, except three (all of which are totally valid with the excuses, being out of the country IS a bit of a roadblock). And of course, all the neighbor ladies where there too. Laurie brought over her baby John. He's SOOOOOOO cute! I want one!
Afterwards my fiance and I went out to Tremont to hang out with my brother and his lovely wife veronica. We wandered about 'The Taste of Tremont' and ate pierogi and gyro. It was good times.
My only complaint is that they used sour cream instead of souvlakia on the gyro. NOT COOL.
I jaunt off now to feed my face and work on pretty things! tata!
