I met a guy Ben who'se in my Calc and Biotech classes. We are probably going to study together.

The Calc teacher doesn't talk very loudly, and he isn't the most interesting, so he is hard to pay attention to. It sucks that the calc book comes in this set of four: one textbook and three supplemental books. At least all of the calc classes use the same set.

Music theory is starting out slow. The class assumes no musical knowledge to begin with. However, I did learn how to remember the notes in bass cleff and why chords sound good. When an instroment plays a note, what we hear as the note is the lowest frequency being produced, but there are also harmonics being produced. The notes that sound good together are ones that are within the same set of harmonics. I'm not explaining that well, but it's really pretty cool. The teacher is from somewhere in east Asia, but her accent isn't hard to understand.

Biotechnology is going to be a great class, though expensive. The teacher really cares about if we're learning and all of that. Unfortunately, the book is around $150 and we also have to get this remote thing and I don't know the price of that yet. The remote is so the teacher can ask the class a question to see if they get the concept or something like that. Kind of like on Who Wants to be a Millionaire when they would poll the audience, but it also registers who gives what answer.

I thought I had more pictures, but it turned out that most of them were video.

Oh, and if you want to see Mike his facebook is here. He had just bleached his hair to cosplay at Anime Boston, and in that picture it is only half way through being spiked up. He currently has shorter black hair with bleached tips, which I like a lot better. I will get more pictures soon.
