Next month looms already
My first review comes up Feb 3rd. I am afraid. Very afraid.
I really have nothing be scared about, but regardless I find that my trepidation builds as time wades ever forward. I've gotten good feedback so far, I just hope it reflects. We'll see.
In other news, dating is stupid. People suck, and apparently I am fatally flawed in some manner which is unbeknownst to me. So rock on.
I saw Daybreakers. It was less emo than Twilight, but equally unstimulating mentally. The plot is not very well written, and no plot twist in the movie took a whole lot of brain juice to process and predict. I liked the twist they took on the whole vampire idea by making them the dominant species, it's about time we stop glorifying the blood suckers. Some of the "science" and reasoning behind occurrences in the film, even giving them a wide berth in that it's a scifi movie, were uncreative and haphazardly put together as contradictions abound. I'll leave it at that as to not give out any spoilers, but overall if you want an action-thriller with some decent acting but terrible scripting (and especially if you can see it for free) one might consider this film.
