ok, so today was one of the longest days of my life. not really, im kind of exaggerating. but it started off with me having to get up early for our mario's staff meeting. ugh, those meetings are so terrible. no one really showed up, but it was nice cuz we got to see the bar that people have been working on. oh, and if you know anyone who is 21 or older who is an experienced bartender, then pass them on. since we're looking for bartenders. i thought id pass that on.
oh, let me tell you some things about the hostess stuff at mario's. ok, so ive been working with meghan and jessica recently, and both of them are a riot. meghan is just so crazy, she likes the skinny guys that walk by mario's just like me and she is just a blast. then, there jessica who is like uber christian and really nice, and she is so out there. she has like OCD, and this heightened sense stuff. its crazy, but she's funny and she likes walking by the hot guys that come in to eat. its pretty hilarious. thats kind of it.
anyway, after the mario's meeting, my dad, wesley, and I had to paint this wood stainer on our back deck to water proof it. oh god, it took forever, and today was so hot. it was just terrible, but we got to stop by eastland mall to eat lunch. that place is closing down, which really stinks since its so cheap in there. plus, they have an ice skating rink. thats just awesome.
if anyone cares the JCC work is going okay. i get a walkie talkie at the start of carpool at the end of the day. which is just amazing!! and all the kids are just adorable. but its so stressful and tiring, all they do is run around and we have to chase them down and put them in line. ahh, i dont know. its ok though, cuz they have such short attention spans, so its to be expected really.
