oh man, today was my mom's birthday. it was really awkward, cuz we dont really give gifts for birthdays. i dont really know the last time i actually got my parents something for their birthday, and most of the time i just get a card from them with some money. i remember one year my mom lost my card and gave it to me in like March. it was sort of funny...but i digress. anyway, i got her the dreamgirls CD and she was happy about it. that was just really scary for me, cuz normally i just try not to care. but this time, i wanted to care and i wanted her to be happy about something. its weird, cuz i haven't felt that way since i was a little kid. haha, we get cake today and maybe we'll go out to dinner next week.
