My version of Karma strikes again.

I haven't been updating due to the fact that every time I tried I would wake up a couple of hours later at my desk not having written anything. Why didn't I write something after my nap? My t.v shows were on and then I had to go to sleep. Anyway, having to start work at 4:30 in the morning Monday thru Saturday was really grinding on me. I wasn't having enough time off to do the things I wanted to do, with all the people I wanted to do them with. Then about three or four weeks ago the car I was using died on me. Chalk one up for bad karma. Now as of wednsday I was fired, out of the blue, due to the fact that the company lost some contracts and had to cut back labor. So, round 2 goes to bad karma. (sigh) Woways me, woways me. Now, I decided to do nothing on thursday cause I deserved a days worth of r&r, but I only had till the 21st to get a new j-o-b if I wanted to go to Baton Rouge after all. Well, the first place I called set me up for an interview. It was ,pretty much, the first place I went to and they hired me immediately... for $800 every two weeks for filling up vending machines on a set route. What's more, I can get started anytime between 5 and 6am and can leave as soon as I'm done with my work, monday thru friday. So, my new job has a better schedule, has less actual work to do, is more laid back, the supervisors seem to have my attitude towards work (as long as you do things right & efficient we're cool), and it pays 8 times what I was making. The two wrongs have been made right. What's more, John's solution to having to stay open late in order to do friday night magic was to hire me. Yep. The goblin crew officially has the keys to the kingdom. How sweet it is. Oh, and wish me luck at the casinos. I'm still waiting for karmic pay back for my car being totaled.
