Bye bye Disney Store, hello discounted PotC goodies.
Last night Stefanie, Mallory and I went to Wal-Mart and when we were originally leaving I nearly collided with Amber and Allen. We ended up staying a while more so the two of them could stalk the freaks. Afterwards we went to the diner. We were there from about two fifteen until about five this morning. It was fun just talking and being goofy. Early on Mallory whacked Stefanie in the head and the guy behind them was laughing and jokingly egging Mallory to hit her again. The guy must have joked around for half an hour off and on. He then mentioned something about offering the two of them twenty bucks each to beat up his ex. And when he left he waved to us from the parking lot.
For a change at work, I wasn't ready to actually kill the customers. Yay for me. I barely was on register for 45 minutes today out of my five hour shift. Tasheena took over mine for the majority of the day while I made nachos, changed four 5 gallon boxes of syrup for the soda, and emptied and unclogged the area on the soda tower that holds the ice and keeps the towers cold so the soda doesn't go flat. So, in other words I spent the day up to my eyeballs in nachos and covered in syrup with numb fingers.
Apparently new boy Josh thinks Tasheena is mean and that she doesn't like him. Josh told Chris that and Chris turned around and told Tasheena. Tasheena then confronted Josh, telling him as it was. That he's not doing his job and if he doesn't she can get in trouble since she is lead and in charge of us to a certain extent. That was interesting watching her blow up at him.
Since Stefanie and Mallory wanted to go to South Street tonight, I dropped them off at the train station and ventured to the mall. The Disney Store is closing tomorrow and I wanted to see if I could snatch up any Pirates of the Caribbean goodies. I ended up with about $47 worth of merchandise and only spent $11.30. Let's just say that the Disney Store is pretty much picked clean with the exception of a bunch of Nightmare Before Christmas shirts in medium and large, Chronicles of Narnia figures and little kids shoes.
I bought two Captain Jack Sparrow action figures - regular Jack and Cannibal Island Jack complete with eyes painted on his face, a figurine set with characters that don't look so much like who they're supposed to be, and a pirate sword that I can mount on my wall that comes with a flag that has the PotCDMC skull and torches on it. Lots of good stuff I would not have bought otherwise though.
At Borders I bought a George Carlin calendar and a book on astronomy. Then it was to the Auction where I didn't buy a single book but got a dozen pretzels instead. McDonalds didn't have my chicken Caesar salad so I ended up with nuggets. :(
Now when Stefanie gets back to the train station and on to the train I'm out the door again to get them and then to Wal-Mart for cat food. Joy. I'll never get anything done only tonight at this rate.
I'm in the mood for some new PotCDMC icons but lacking the motivation to make them or look for the screencaps I want. I know I want to make on of Jack when he is on the island and has the eyes painted on his face. And maybe new Elizabeth/Keira one or two.
