Here for the party.
The house is finally coming together for the most part. All of my share is pretty much done with the exception of a few things on the kitchen table.
Last night George came over to drop off some tables and chairs. We then ran to Mallory's to get a picnic table and benches that she has. Those things were heavy.
Today we're supposed to meet at the liquor store down in Hammonton at one to get the alcohol, then follow him back to his house so we can get the stuff. Otherwise he said he'd have to make a second trip. This way we'll cover it in one. Plus we need to get ice, rolls, and a few other odds and ends we had to wait until the end to get. Thank god there is a Wal-Mart and grocery store right on the Pike in Hammonton where we'll be.
Supposedly I have to pick up Sean Barry since he can't take his parents truck since he'd end up spending the night. George doesn't want him to come so I don't know what's up with that. And Jess Thorton, a girl neither George or I want to come, is supposed to come after she gets done working. I don't recall either of us inviting her to begin with.
The weather is supposed to reach 113° in the shade according to the radio. Not good. Our luck, we pick a heat wave to host a party outside. Luckily it'll be at night so it will be cooler for everyone else but us who have to be outside setting up in the middle of the day.
Now I better get my ass to bed. George is calling around noon. And Stefanie will most likely be waking me early because she'll say she needs my help cleaning even though she knew it had to be done and she's had all this time. My shower was delayed until nearly six because I cleaned the stove and wiped down a few things then instead of getting up early to do it.
Ciao. And here's hoping the nothing gets out of hand tonight and nothing bad happens. Let's hope it's a fun night.
