The luck of the drawl.
Woot! I won $300 dollars. I'm rather suprised though. It's for one of the window painting I did for work. It was for Over the Hedge. Ms. Phillips told Stefanie to call me earlier and she did. It sucks though that I didn't win for art quality, talent or creativity. No, they pick the winners at random. And the one time I use the liner art to trace I win. Ms. Knoll split the prize money 60/40. She gets $200 and I get the $300. Not bad though. And that money will be mine, not for bills or anything else.
Two weeks until Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest comes out. I'm starting to get more excited finally. Though the trailers don't look all the best, I saw a behinds the scene thing on it last night on Starz and it looked cool. We shall see how it is. By this time in two weeks I'll have already seen it. Can't wait. Still need to read the junior novel though.
No plans for tonight. Stefanie is supposed to go out with Jenn, Michelle and Brittany so I'll have the house to myself again unless Jenn says I can go and if I did go. Not sure I want to go shopping with that group. Shooting myself in the foot is a safer task.
