Girls day out for more shopping

Today was an all right day with the exception of the rain. Our main goal was to get decorations and stuff for Tony's party but that didn't happen. Instead we just went shopping for ourselves mainly. We ran to the movies first, then to the bank and McDonald's before dropping Brittany off at home. Then it was to Sicklerville so Jenn could get her eye brows waxed, the dollar store, and a pizza place so Jenn could get pizza. Next was Borders where we were there for an hour or so. It was nice to just wonder around and not have to have a set time to leave by. I ended up getting four new books: "Crimson City" Liz Maverick, "A Darker Crimson"- Carolyn Jewel, "Just Jane" William Lavender and "Irish-English English-Irish Dictionary and Phrasebook" As if I could go to the book store without getting anything. Right. We then went to the mall so we could get Tony a gift. Stef and I ended up getting him several Batman, Superman, Green Lantern comic books and a Spiderman action figure.

Either Stefanie lives under a rock or all those years of watching television paid off. She had no idea who Wolverine from X-Men even is. Hell, I know the basics of X-Men, Batman and Superman at least from watching the cartoons from the 90s. And seeing all the comic books reminded me of people on my friends page who are obsessed with comic books and X-Men.

I was disappointed that I couldn't find the "Most Haunted" book anywhere. Either it's not available here in the States yet or no one has it yet. Then again Borders Books and Music and Borders Express in the mall had nearly nothing on ghosts. And even if it wasn't in print here yet it would have said so on the computer at the store and given the release date. It came up with zero results.

After the mall we ran to Burger King and KFC for dinner and then to Shop Rite for a few things. Jenn never even got anything she needed for Tony's party.

As for Tony, I have to make him his card. I'm going to either make it in the shape of the Batman or Superman symbol. I'm not sure which yet though. I need to find sturdy paper or cardboard to make it.

Last night I worked on my costume a bit. I got the front cut out and have started to stitch the under skirt panel to the overdress. Since it has to be done by hand it will take a bit, especially since I have to make the stitches small so they don't show up, even though I'm going to cover that area with white ribbon.

Might was well go work on my costume perhaps. Stefanie went with some of the gang to shoot pool and I didn't feel like going so I had Jenn drop me off home. If I'm lucky maybe she'll hang out at Jenn's a bit afterwards or just stay out until midnight or so. I love my alone time.

Now for some quality Missy time.
