Goodness... You seem to be falling apart lately.

I cannot decide if the experience is irritating or amusing.

Personally, I would find it thoroughly infuriating, but then again. I'm merely human~

I don't care about the damage, but the principle of the thing is not to allow people to do this to me. And the most annoying thing is the method, which I still haven't been able to fully grasp.

I have several pawns looking into the attacks as we speak. They are obviously not the most brilliant, but they will suffice until I figure out what is going on.

I knew I could count on you~

It's bizarre. I've used almost all my equipment, but it occurs too fast. There's no build up or cool down. The energy signal just appears at full strength and is then gone as if it was never there. It is literally instantaneous.

Perhaps some form of magic? I despise the practice, yet it seems to exist on this ship.

If not, then what technology could it be? Surely not alchemy...

It is possible that is a form of magic...I haven't fully explored the possibility yet, but as luck would have it, I have recently made a friend of a sorceress. I shall ask her advice.

It's not the sort of alchemy that Mustang and the other weaklings use, no...Whilst my type of Alchemy could do this from my understanding, the only sources of it are myself and Soya. Soya wouldn't harm me, I don't think, and I'm hardly like to be doing it without realising.

[Yeah, the FMA cast are alchemy. The Buso Renkin cast are Alchemy. Superior~]

A sorceress hmm? [You can hear the venom in his voice. He hates magic with a burning passion.] I'd very much enjoy meeting your friends some day, Chouno.

Speaking of Soya, he's rather naive, isn't he?

...Do you have some issue with Magic, Vincent?

Mmm...I'm not sure I want to share you. [Little chuckle.]

Yes-and so moody. It's hard for me to tell when to push and when to pull.

[He shrugs a little.] I've never been a fan of it, Chouno.

Oh ho~? Well, I'm flattered you want to keep me all to yourself~

[He would make a heart with his hands if it didn't kill his pride. =w=]

I've been attempting to get close by stating I wish to be friends with him. He's still a child, believing any honeyed words dipped into his ears.

For any particular reason?

Ah well-I suppose it is the case that you're a part of my [he was going to say family. But catches himself without missing a beat.] life. I'll introduce you soon.

Ah-hah! I knew you could do it for me. He's so hard for me to get to-one minute he is treating me like a father, the next he is treating me like his enemy.

For reasons that made life difficult back home.

[And he says it with a smile~ And speaking of smile, he can't help but continue as he mentions their bond. How true. Chouno had become something similar to family... Nothing like Gil. No...That place in his heart would never be filled. But...Close.] I look forward to meeting them.

He mentioned one thing though. The reason he continued to train was because as long as Papillon is here, there are also Homunculi... Perhaps we could manipulate him with promises of no longer creating homunculi?

Understandable. There are many things I hate in that way.

I'll arrange something.

Vincent, but whilst I love to manipulate, I never make promises I have no intention of keeping.

So I will just have to find something far more nightmarish than homunculi to create.

Such a similar feeling I share towards many who live aboard this vessel. We're going to have to change this.

Excellent.

[He blinks a little at this and chuckles softly.]

We differ there. I only intend to keep promises to my brother and my friends... Everyone else is expendable.

Once I've dealt with this issue, I'll start building you a real army, I think. The pawns you've been playing with are fine for this sort of thing, but you're the type of man who should be holding the leash of monsters.

For me, a promise is placing my values into the world-and I never comprimise my values. Of course, if people misunderstand my promises, that is their fault~
