But the picture adjusts itself after a few seconds and you can now have a clear view of Hibana. Sitting ever so perfectly with an innocent smile dancing on her face. For a moment, she doesn't say anything. It looks as if she wants to, but she's just too tickle pink to form the exact words. Her chest raises, yes she's taking a deep breath. A proper lady must compose herself, can't get too excited. Do this professionally.]
"Would you kill the innocent in order to save a loved one"?
A while ago, I had asked this question. Despite becoming surprised how many responses I received, many of you replied with "Yes." Good number of "No" and another with "Finding another way". There are a few that asked what would I do in a situation as that.
[Her innocence smile twists into a wicked smirk.]
Well...
[Hibana wheels off screen in her rolling chair and reveals that behind her, Edward Elric is strapped to a dentist chair, bare chested, and only with one arm and one leg. On his head, there is an rusty iron headgear. And if looked extremely closely, there is blood dripping down his chin from his mouth.]
As you see, Edward is the innocent. Well...perhaps not that innocent.
[She appears back on screen, but standing right beside Edward, whom is glaring at the girl silently.]
He has some "bad meat" on him. Right around here to be exact...
[Hibana lowers herself to his hand, pinching the skin softly with her teeth, running it over with her tongue, and then caressing her cheek against his hand. A chuckle escapes her as she pulls away.]
-- Ah, it's been sometime since Hibana had "bad meat". Quite delicious...
[Her blue eyes peers up at the boy.]
You know, Edward -- if you wish to blame anyone for your predicament, you should blame Luke.
[And suddenly, she grows bitter at just the thought of him, just saying his name! She grits her teeth and clenches her fists at her sides.]
It is Luke that you should frown upon, not Hibana. I only wanted something that was precious to me. I only wanted to take care the one thing that I adore most than anything. But he -- he would keep it away from me. He would physically harm the one I held dear to me, call it names, abandoning it all alone.
Hibana is the rightful Master for Mieu, not Luke!! He's improper! He's bad! Bad, bad, bad, BAD!
[Abruptly, she falls silence -- deciding to now face the video.]
And so, she has to punish Luke. I am harming the innocent in order to save my love one and to teach that filthy boy not to cross a lady. To give me exactly what I want when asked.
[Her lips quirk and breaks into a hysterical chuckle.]
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....!
[She nibbles on her fingernails excitingly. Oh, the rush of this situation!!]
I-It's what you would all do, correct? The ones that answered "Yes"? Surely, you can not wrong me for it.
[Edward makes a sound, but then winces as more blood drips down his chin. Hibana glances over her shoulder and speaks calmly:]
Ah... remember Edward, if you make a sound -- the spikes on the mouthpiece will pierce the tongue.
[She looks back at the guide, expressing slight annoyance.]
But I suppose there are viewers that are the same as the policemen at home. Thinking Hibana is doing wrong when she is doing right. And I also suppose the same wish to find me.
[She thinks for a minute.]
Hmm... I shall give you a chance to do so. After all, it would be rude of a lady to not.
The punishment will be begin at midnight. You have until then to locate.
[And Hibana approaches to the guide, flashing an innocent smile.]
