[Have a worm's-eye view of a teenage boy's face set in concentration. Faint sound bytes can be heard, some of them familiar; he's going over all the conversations with the captains as well as the information contained. One piece, however, seems to catch his interest every time it comes up:]
attempt to leave this ship, we will die. The Infinite Improbability Drive is what is keeping us all alive
If you leave you die
You were supposed to have been dead
the engine is what's keeping you alive.
destruction of a planet
if we stray away too far for too long, we will fall apart
[he grimaces, though not for the reason most people would expect.]
I don't care if it's random, why would anyone even bother--someone like--
[he slams his Guide down in frustration, and the feed ends abruptly.]
Private to Legretta:
Legretta. I need to speak with you as soon as possible.
