I was wondering, could anyone tell me what  the word "emo"  means? I've heard it several times in the last year, and I believe I was referred to as one earlier this afternoon.

It's not a bad thing, is it? I...I don't think I was behaving offensively, just sitting on a bench writing haiku...

Me too... I wish there was some way to learn about all the different cultures and people here on the ship with us.

I think something like that would be extremely helpful. Maybe it would even help people adapt and feel more comfortable with the things they might see here.

...But who would teach it?

I... I'm not sure. I guess... it'd need to be someone who knows about a lot of them. Or else could get different people from the different cultures to come in and talk...

I can't imagine there's many people here who know a lot about the cultures of the other people on board, so perhaps the latter idea is more likely to work.

I think I'll talk to the people from my world, and see if any of them would be interested doing something like that, or if they'd mind if I did it.
