I read a weird book today that asked some dumb questions. I wonder how other people will answer~ It's supposed to be philosophical or something.
You're standing next to some train tracks and before you are five people tied to the tracks and there's a train coming and it's gonna kill them~
You're standing next to a lever that you can pull to divert the train and save them.
Sounds easy, huh? [He laughs, cheerfully.]
There's a catch~ On the train track that the train will be diverted onto there's one person tied to the tracks. If you pull the lever you'll save the five people but that one person will die~!
So what do you choose? Do you let five people die by not pulling the lever or do you pull it and kill that one person on the other track?
