Flame-Haze. A being meant for the purpose of managing the balance of existence within the universe. If a person is killed, he or she becomes a torch, a fake being, to calm the shock the sudden unnatural disappearance of a person can cause. The Flame-Haze then takes the remaining torch's power of existence and becomes that person for a few days, as to lessen the impact further, as well as investigate the cause of death. The Flame-Haze retains all memories of that person.
...There have been a lot of deaths lately. Unnatural ones, yet, oddly their revival seems almost too easy. Something like that should not happen, it disturbs the balance further.
