So, I've been working on coming up with some rules to this tournament that Lloyd mentioned with Killua, and here's what we've managed to get so far.
- Rounds will be twenty minutes long, and will last until the the time ends, or one participant is rendered unable to fight, through knockouts only. No killing, guys. This is a friendly way to get some exercise, after all.
- Each successful hit on your opponent counts as a point. We'll be having judges watching from all angles to make sure every hit is counted. In the event that no one is knocked out, the winner of the fight will be determined by points.
- The winner of that fight will move on, while the loser is disqualified. We're using a standard bracket tournament layout here.
- All weapons and abilities are welcome to be used. This includes bladed weapons and magic. We only ask that you, of course, use discretion. If you possess a spell that can wipe the ship out of space-time itself, it prooooobably wouldn't be the best idea to use it. So basically, anything goes within reason.
- Like I said before, and I really can't stress this enough, this is a friendly competition. So, no killing. No maiming. No disemboweling. No tearing out someone's soul. Nothing that can pretty much leave the opponent a crippled, barely living mass of flesh and bone.
I think that more or less covers it. I know we're looking for judges and referees, and as always, competitors. I'll be competing myself. And if anyone else has any suggestions, let me know!
Oh yeah, one more thing.
Jade? Anise?
Take those damn flyers down before I rip them down. If one more alien bounty hunter comes after me over an amount of money I know you don't possess, I'm going to lose it.
