From the little you can see through the front screen, he's obviously engaged in some elaborate high-speed maneuvers within the current solar system. That's right, baby, that last modification did it! You're almost back to normal. Feels good, doesn't it?
Now for the final test.
[He turns to the side and inputs something you can't see into the computer, a look of concentration on his face. Then he grasps two levers and squeezes them together. For just a second, the familiar lines of the jump to hyperspace appear, only to fade almost immediately.]
Blast, I thought that had done it.
All right, don't worry. We'll get it fixed.
