There's always someone like that around you. They might just not know better, or else it's part of their personality, and you learn to love it or hate it. Though you need to leave room for people to change, even if it's a slow process.

Outside of simply ignoring them, or firmly telling them to stop? Ah... not really. You can sometimes get it through their heads through brute force -- ah, that is, insistence, but some traits are there, no matter what.
