Oh, what a coincidence! I'd like that. It would save us the trouble of introducing ourselves once I got to the room, after all. [laughs] I'm Melissa.

[Oh good, she seems to have cheered up a little.] I'll be over there soon, Melissa. Did you have a bad time with the pencil-pushers too? They really need a better welcoming committee.

So you've bounced back up a little? That's good. I've always thought you can get through a lot if you keep some hope. I don't think anyone actually knows if the worlds are gone for good.

Come on, the room's this way. [She starts walking at a leisurely pace back toward the housing areas.

I'm feeling better, yes. It always helps to have company, after all.

I got lucky my first day and found some friends. [...And got distracted by the legion of cute, but anyway.] Yours might be out there too.
