[THUMP. That's the noise of a Guide being dropped onto a kitchen counter. The video is now on, just because I said so. Shut up. Jerk. And on that kitchen counter happens to be 26 little white bags. And from each of those bags, Chouno's pale hands takes a single pill. Which he swallows with a gulp of water ( Read more... )

[Oh. Shit. Always the moments he doesn't want people to see get recorded. Where is it when he sparkles?]

Oh, hello dear.

Are--Are you okay?

Never.

But relativley, I'm doing better. I'm just being silly-for a while now, whenever my health returns to its extremely bad best, something happens to me that leaves me bed ridden again. It's just been coincidence, I'm sure, but it's still rather depressing.

[You'd think, but Chouno is a hermit of the highest order. Probably he just leaves notes saying to keep filthy paws off of his oranges.]

No, never.

I'm just hoping a trend doesn't become a pattern. Whenever my health is just 'bad' and not 'crippled'; something comes along to solve that.

[eh, close enough]

Oh, I see. Well... if that does happen and you need some help for whatever reason, I'm around.

[In fact, she may not have even noticed that he's been living (illegally) in a suite for like, two months. Because if anyone was around in the common areas, he wouldn't go out, even if he really needed to.]

Mm. I'll keep that in mind, thank you, but with Maraich here I'm sure I'll be fine.

Huh? Someone tried to kill you? Are you okay?

No, I'm never okay.

But I'm refering to the distressing trend, that whenever my health recovers to a moderate semblance of g capable of taking care of myself, something horrible happens to me.

Maybe you should always keep someone close to you, to help you if trouble occur.

I do. Trouble happens anyway. Usually they cause it.

Chouno, you need to keep your spirits up.

At least we're staying in a nice place, right?

I don't see why I should.

Yes, fairly nice, I suppose. But it's still no good if I end up bed ridden in it again.

Come on. It's one of the best rooms on the ship. We have everything we need. We have a great kitchen. And you have a very lovely caretaker. Things aren't that bad.

Yes, well, that may be true-but then you'll recall that if something happens to me, I'll be stuck in the bedroom of this lovely place. And then it's just a lovely prison.

Did trouble find you again?

No, but if the trend becomes a pattern, it will in a few days.

I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not. dancing_pierrot April 28 2010, 04:03:37 UTC
Oh? Going to the library again?

HAHAH I was going to have him say something like 'depends, do you have any books?' before. willhavewings April 29 2010, 20:56:26 UTC
That would depend entirely on if you are.
