[The camera turns on, focused only on Lucifer. He's sitting at a table, looking through some paperwork with a deeply bored expression. He looks up and gives both the camera and a person you can't see a skeptical expression.]
And this is your income?
[A slight pause, then a muttered, "Yes."]
I believe we both know that isn't the truth. Perhaps you'd care to revise your statement?
[There's another pause, during which Lucifer continues to look bored, and then the other being agrees again, this time in a much smaller voice.]
I thought as much.
[He shuffles the papers again, glancing through them at a speed that suggest more show than anything else, then looks up and shakes his head, his expression still completely disinterested.]
I'm afraid that I simply can't approve this loan. You're too big a risk; you can't possibly pay this money back.
[Cue begging and pleading, including "You can't!" "I have to have that money!" And "I'll do anything!"]
Anything, is it? Very well, I'm listening.
[There's a shot of Lucifer's expression, then the video whites out, as though a bright light were shone directly into the camera. There's no sound either, just silence. This lasts for a minute or two, then Lucifer's back, directly addressing the camera with a faint smile.]
While we're on the subject of finances, should someone be seeking extra income, I appear to be once more in need of a few employees.
