For those of you wondering about Ukitake's condition--he's stable, but will be some time recovering. He hasn't yet been able to tell us, but Hitsugaya suspects that Wonderweiss Margera was the one who attacked him; given his entry earlier, I tend to agree.
Wonderweiss may seem to be nothing more than a child, but that's not the case; he was created to essentially be a living weapon, as part of the fighting force of someone who decided he wanted to be God. He's exceedingly dangerous, so I don't recommend confronting him. I still don't know what provoked him to attack Ukitake after all this time, as Ukitake is hardly the type to start a fight. It may have been nothing more than an impulse on his part, but I still wanted to put out a warning.

Finally, the young lady who offered to heal Ukitake before--please let me know if you're still willing to help.
