13: In Which Fairly Pointless and Nonsensical Devices Are Indulged Upon Anyhow [Video]
[See wizard. See wizard with black hair, (hasn't re-dyed it yet, derp /o/), today wearing a coat consisting of fairly subdued gray and lavender patterns.]
[See wizard sitting at a table in what appears to be the recreational area.]
[See wizard put the finishing touches on some sort of...misshapen ball of metal about twice as large as a marble.]
[At length he sits back to consider it gravely, holding it up to the light and turning it, peering critically. The table in front of him is strewn with small mechanical parts, but he seems to be finished with them.]
...Hm. That should do it.
[He tosses it upwards.]
[....And it looks very much like it's about to fall straight back down. But, somehow, it manages to hang in the air - and the ball then unfolds a pair of smallish mechanical wings, a bit reminiscent of a bat's.]
[And it flaps.]
[And the ball...starts flying circles over his head.]
[Nevermind that those wings are way too small to support anything.]
