Too naive. There are much more painful things. I'm just being a realist. You should wise up too...

I know things can be bad sometimes, but that doesn't mean it can't change. People can make a choice to make things better.

That's just it. You have to have faith that people can change, but, ultimately, it's the people that decide if they want to, not you.

But they can decide that they want to make the future better than today. Believing in your friends and in yourself... that's when change starts.

And? If the price of 'a better future' is too high for them to pay, they would simply continue as they are. There is no real altruism. Everyone thinks in their own self-interest.
