3rd shot * [accidental video]
[For some reason both of Raven's previous Guide posts managed to catch him at bad times, so he probably gave off an impression of himself what wasn't entirely accurate. He's not grumpy all the time, really. As evidenced by the scene that unfolds--the device is showing the ceiling--probably lying on a table or some other flat surface. In the background, shrieks of laughter, giggling, and other enthusiastic sounds that tend to come from children can be heard.]
Woah, hey! Watch where yer throwin' that--
[a brightly colored ball whizzes by overhead, returning after it bounces off the wall. There are more voices, none of them particularly understandable at the moment. A few snatches of conversation can be picked out--]
Nah, you gotta get it right in th' middle. See? There, give it another try.
[eventually the video feed shakes a bit, as if the surface it's laying on is being moved. A round face moves into view, obscuring the rest of the ceiling, peering down at it with wide, curious eyes. Three of them. Then the device is turned over to be examined, apparently, showing nothing but a small pair of cloth-covered knees for a few moments.]
--no more pullin' hair. I know ya didn't know cuz ya don't got any, but it hurts. Now play nice.
...hm? Ah-- [there is the brief sound of footsteps getting closer] Leela, darlin', what're ya doin' all the way over here by yerself? Dontcha wanna play?
[the Guide shakes a little again as a small voice whispers something.]
Whazzat? Didn't quite...aw, don't be like that. [his voice takes on a gentler tone.] We'll find somethin' fer ya t'do. Oh--whatcha got there?
[the picture wobbles, tilting up to show Raven's scruffy chin, briefly.]
A treasure, huh? And ya found it all by yerself?
[the little....girl...? makes a dissenting noise, and the camera is pushed against Raven's shirt.]
Y'knew it was mine? Aw, I didn't lose it, but thank ya kindly.
Tell ya what...y'can keep score fer me. It's a real important job~ Whaddya say?
[The Guide shuts off shortly after it's tucked into his pocket.]
