Then Keiko comes in to tell Yusuke to turn in his damn book report, which Botan finds amusing (although she hides behind him first, god knows). Much to Yusuke's horror as he hasn't told Keiko about his work as a spirit detective (although he…says that he hasn't turned in his book report because he's fighting evil? Again, god knows) and Botan seems to be under the impression that she knows, Botan starts talking to Keiko about how happy she is to meet her and that her daring rescue of Yusuke's body was so admirable. Yusuke corrects her immediately and Keiko gets the Wrong Idea about their relationship as Botan says "but if you ask me things are about to get complicated if you don't tell her soon." Which annoys her and makes her walk off in a huff, naturally.

Then she gets caught by Hiei. Who saw that coming?

Yusuke detects activity on his Super Dooper Spirit Watch and Botan informs him as they're heading down to the warehouse where Hiei is that he told her awful things through telepathy about how he's got Keiko and he won't let her go unless Yusuke brings the two items he retrieved. They get to the warehouse where they're confronted by mindless zombie people, which Yusuke promptly knocks down and Botan notes that Hiei must be a user of the Jagan. A third eye that is devoid of all euphemisms. Hiei confirms this and tosses Keiko at them after Yusuke hands over the items.

Unfortunately, she's damaged goods. But Hiei doesn't talk about that until Yusuke makes an ass of himself trying to punch him while he zips around with his Super Speed. Hiei cut Keiko with the sword, which causes a third eye similar to his Jagan eye to start opening up. This bit of body horror is immediately subdued by Botan, who starts dumping her Special Spirit Healing energy into the eye to keep it closed and tells him to hurry up and beat Hiei. Hiei notes that if she keeps that up she will die, much to Yusuke's surprise (and Shonen Rage Power Up) and Botan insists that he not worry about it and fight. Hiei tells him that the antidote is within the hilt of the sword and the fight starts in earnest, though Yusuke punching him in the face prompts him to. Take off his jacket because fighting is better when you take off your clothes. and power up into a different form, which increases his spirit energy and the rate that Keiko's third eye is opening. This comes as a shock to Botan and she realizes that she probably won't' be able to keep it closed, but she has to try and renews her efforts, although the force of Hiei's energy starts cutting her hands.
