[ It seems like everyone around has gotten really upset, depressed, or angry about this black hole situation. Katara can relate, she feels uncertain because LAWL WHAT IS A BLACK HOLE RIGHT? she has no idea how to combat something this big, but seeing Aang losing hope is what's pushed her over. Yep

[ Aang is sitting with his legs crossed on the floor of the hangar idly bending a marble into the air for Momo to jump after. When he spots Katara he gives her his best smile, which in all honesty isn't all that convincing. ] That sounded great, Katara. [ Aang means it, he just doesn't sound very spirited.

But he wants to be more upbeat. ] You're right about the people on the ship though, if we can get some of them to help I'm sure we can figure something out between us. [ The people from their planet and other friends. ]

I wish I could find a spacesuit... That way I could go outside of the ship and bend it out of the black hole's path. [ He makes an exaggerated motion with his hands when he space. ] Though I'd have to do that while keeping myself from being sucked in. [ He remembers what Zuko said about this idea. ]

Thanks, Aang. [ STILL IN SERIOUS BUSINESS MODE so it's cool. This is bothering her a lot. From what she hears about space there's no air TO bend, or water for that matter. ]

I think that you've got the right idea, we need something that could push the ship away from it without putting anyone in danger...

Too bad I can't just create a gigantic airball around the ship-- I mean, I don't even think I'm that powerful. [ The ship is huge and he is Avatar Stateless. A fact that bothers him even more these days. ] But there are a lot of powerful people on this ship, deities even. [ How can someone like Amaterasu not have a huge impact. ] I'll ask some of the friends I've made for their help if they don't show up tonight.

Is there anyway to tell when we're going to be sucked in. Knowing our luck, time isn't on our side, but I'd still feel better if we knew how long it would be until the ship gets too close.

Hey Rose! Nice to see you here. [ He grins at her, motioning with his arm that she should come closer.] I was just about to suggest Appa and I combine forces. [ Though Appa is sleeping in a quieter spot in the hangar.

For a second Aang looks like he's questioning himself internally. ] I wonder if there's a space suit big enough for him. Not that I'd wanna risk him being sucked in, but if we can airbend, there's a chance we can fight it.

[ He shakes his head. ] I can't make it, but I can still do a lot with what's around me. I know that you can't breathe in space, it's not the same as inside the ship. The air on a planet that humans live on, and whatever is out there in space have to be made up of at least some of the same stuff right? [ Talk about science he can never understand.. ] Even if they are still very different. Does that make sense? [ He's not sure what he's saying. ]

Pretty high? Like where the air is thinner and it's hard to breathe? [ He doesn't mean for it to sound like a question. ]

Eventually as you go even higher than that you will find that the air has completely disappeared. You will be gasping for air as you have been surrounded by water, but it is not water. It is nothingness.

What if I bring the air with me? I can bend a pretty big airball around myself.

But wouldn't that take the air away from the ship and people that need it?

You'd need an awful lot of air to move the station, you know.

[ He sighs. ] Yeah. You're right.

What about trying to do something from the inside?

Something like this-- [ Before Aang can create air jets with his hands and mouth Appa comes up and licks him from behind. It startles Aang. ] Did you have a good nap buddy? [ Aang laughs, giving his nose a gentle pat. ] I'm glad you're here though.

[ He looks to Rose. ] This is Appa, he's my sky bison. He's an airbender too! Maybe even the best in the whole universe. [ Appa is sure the best on their home planet. ]

What if the two of us did something like this. [ Instead of using his mouth, Aang stands up and sends powerful blasts of air from his hands and one of his feet. ] But a lot stronger?
