[Xion is instantly alert as soon as she hears the commotion outside; she hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary with her room, but hearing Hope's voice... she immediately stands up, her own room's floor safe and unaffected. she also summons her Keyblade, just in case something's up; she doesn't know what's going on yet, but she's not going to be unprepared.]

Hope? I'm fine-! What's going on?

Xion, stand back!

[Xion will then hear the loud noise of a waterga spell exploding against her door as Hope clears out some lava outside her room, and she may notice steam seeping in through the cracks of her door. The door will then slide open to reveal Hope covered in soot and panting heavily.]

[...that's enough to make her drop her guard a little, but now she's concerned for a different reason.]

[with that, she rushes forward and tries to brush the ashes off of him.]

[she tries to peek outside, her face immediately turning into a grimace as she sees that he's not lying. not that she thought he was, but... well, it's another thing entirely to actually see it for herself.]

I-I'm okay. Just a little hot from the floor. I was able to extinguish it with my water spells, but I don't know how long it will last.

[Hope hesitates before speaking.]

You can, but I want to make sure our friends are okay first. My guide's in the living room, but it's okay right now. Besides, the furniture isn't affected somehow.

[Hope considers telling her that it's dangerous, but he knows how useless that would be. Besides, he can't stop that small smile from momentarily appearing on his face.]

[how could she say anything else? she grins at that, nudging him a little playfully. even in a serious situation, she could afford to lighten up a little, right?]

[He laughs a little back. Spending time with Vanille and Snow taught him just how valuable a smile can be in the face of danger. Besides, it's danger he knows he can handle.]

You can fight better than me, but you can't fight lava with a keyblade. And you don't have any water spells. That means I get to be your hero for once.

[He grows up to be a scientist for a reason, girl. Though hearing her call him hero out loud makes him more flustered then he expected.]

Er... R-right. Anyway, stay close!

[Turning his back to her for no reason other than to hide how red he's become, Hope leads the way to the living room. Thankfully, the obsidian still seems to last. For now atleast.]

[even if she's being alert now, with her Keyblade securely in hand again, she can't help but giggle when she sees how much that quip of hers made him blush. only they could be dumb, cute teenagers in the middle of a room filled with lava.]

[Okay okay, serious face time. As he enters the living room he picks up his guide and hops on the couch, afraid to let his feet touch the floor. He offers a hand to Xion.]

Here, come up on the couch. For some reason the furniture wasn't effected by the lava.
