That's a fair point. And perhaps they are beginning to be, though if they wanted to learn more about humans then observing them in a less contrived setting would be a lot more useful.

How to deal with unexpected situations perhaps, or how to survive a day without ending up inebriated. Besides, you're being silly, you're more likely to die from dehydration if you drink too much alcohol than if you go without.
