I would agree if I didn't feel you were experiencing crippling guilt of responsibility from other people's mistakes.

I do feel guilt for the actions that I took, but they are actions I needed to take to clear my head.... It may not seem like it with all of my apologies, but I am feeling better.

That would be rather unfortunate.
