In the cycle of the year I am most used to, winter is fast approaching which, back ho-- ...where I'm from, that is, often entails snow. I don't suppose the ship has much in the way of weather, but the planet we're above now, does anyone know if it has snow?

I was thinking about it, and I have been saving most of my wages from the past few months, and I now have a bit saved up. In short, I was wondering if there was perhaps any place on board that you would like to live, beyond your current... accommodations.

I do not need a more luxurious living space than that with which I am provided now, but I-- ...If you were amenable to it, living closer to you and maybe, possibly your lieutenant would be... nice.

You are not an imposition, Rukia. I am simply saying you are allowed to think for yourself. I cannot stop you from doing so, nor would I necessarily want to.

However, if I were to have my way, I would rather you and I shared accommodations, or were at least closer than we are now.

[Happy Rukia is a wonderful thing to see. Deep down inside, though Byakuya doesn't show it, he is also happy.

It's possible for them to really work together, despite the distance that may always be between them. Sometimes they can actually be like siblings.]

I ask that I have a room to myself and plenty of privacy. Nothing here will be like the estate, but I am sure you can determine the next best alternative.

It is hard to find a suitable substitute for a home, but finding something at least tolerable should be possible.
