[Sort of rolls his eyes]

Is there a fucking reason for this, or you just fucking felt like it?

[between the lines: Agito wants to know if you are okay, matt =3]

I basically felt like it.
There's people oughta be remembered more than just one day casually at a conversation table.

[At first, Kiriko is very surprised there is another on the ship who acknowledges Remembrance Day. But after listening to his speech, a very appreciative Doctor sends a message in response.]

Thank you. That was.. a very thoughtful and much needed dedication.

[Of course Matt doesn't know this particular person but:]

I'm guessing you're a vet hm?
Well, you're welcome 'cause freedom fighters need recognition. Unsung hero's are fine and all, but sometimes just instead of a song a little verse here and there doesn't hurt, right?

Pleasure t'meet you, I'm Matt.

Yes, I am a veteran, unfortunately - though I don't imagine Remembrance Day was intended to give recognition to the dishonoured. Still, I have much respect for the occasion... I watched many friends fight and lose their lives, all of them far too young to die.

Hello, Matt. My name is Dr. Kiriko.

Yes. But sometimes, it's good to have a day just to remember.

And people I don't know.

[Completely ignores the message.]

Meet me at the bar in an hour.

[Cuts the feed.]

W-- ...
[And the feed is cut.

Alright then. Matt needs to get out anyway, there's shopping to be done and he'll do it after the meeting. He takes his gun with him, putting it in the lining of his jacket and makes his way to the bar. In under an hour, Matt's waiting outside the doors.]

[Aya looks at the flash drive Sho gave him. Hopefully he can get the information he needs out of it in time.]

[He steps out the door, checking around for Matt, and there he is, on time. Commendable.]

[There is a gesture with his head to come in before he returns from where he came.]

[Again about "a warrior need to rest", Matt? Mello will give you a text as answer]

How touching.

[Matt will reply with a text then, considering he's said it's no one in particular but everyone who's served.]

Glad you thought so.

[it still hit home, considering the conversation they had few days ago]

Becoming sentimental?

No.

Just smartened up from a dumb teenage boy back pulling jacket strings of the teachers at the House.
