[ Halloween is the right time to tell ghost stories, isn't it? As an exorcist and downright ridiculous old rambling coot (but mostly as a ridiculous old rambling coot), Shiro has something of a talent for weaving impossible ghost stories. He's switched off the lights, save for a few burning candles off in the background. He's holding up a flashlight to his face while hunched over the Guide, exactly how stories are usually told around a campfire.
The plot thus far? A teenage girl who walked into a street while distracted with her cellphone was hit by a reckless driver. The driver got away by fleeing the scene, but the driver's friends and family started to receive strange calls from the ghost of this teenage girl. One by one, these people were killed until the ghost caught up with the driver--]
... He threw the battery aside as he ran down the sidewalk, away from the girl's ghost. But! Even after he removed the battery, his phone rang, rang, and rang. So, slowly, he picked the phone up and answered, "H-hello?" Then...
BAM! [ He slammed his heel down upon the floor for emphasis, ]
He was hit by a car! The young man didn't realize he ran out into the road!
[ He cackled, ] Admit it! None of you saw that coming! Ah, but before you go, you gotta make sure you tell this tale to three other friends, otherwise that ghost-girl's number will be the next on your incoming call list...!
