Yes and no. In general people do get along, or more tolerate each other. There are also situations where people don't. But perhaps you are familiar with a place that has a lot more conflict?

It depends, I find those situations are more subtle here, and may not even be noticed outwardly. It would also depend on who one was around and what they were trying to do. In the end I would say a rather typical society.

Mostly, though it depends. Where I am from there are places with high conflict, but there are places with low conflict. This ship however would not function well with high conflict, and there is law enforcement to keep the laws in check.

the law enforcement arrests those who break the law, those people in turn will be put to trial and a proper sentence will be decided. From there punishment will be delivered.
