My name is Nia. The case is being held in my living room, and if that is not sufficient, I believe that all involved parties have been residing in the same apartment as me.

What our new witness means is that she lived in the same hive as Lady Plumsnout. The Nia human and Plumsnout were in the middle of negotiations that would improve human-troll relationships; Carrotsnout, as you all know, was known to be vehemently anti-human. Which brings his motives further into question.
