I don't want another one.
[And that is a disgruntled Vergil, although his Guide is currently just lying face-up, recording some fluorescent lighting. Is it a doctor's clinic? A lab? Either way, he's not currently in the shot.]
Oh, come on. There's only 186 more to go~ And we even have new kinds!
No.
[The person Vergil is talking to hovers into view--it is some kind of octopus alien wearing glasses, all eight tentacles full of boxes.]
We have eight boxes left today. Don't you want the feeling of a job well done?
I'm finished here. Unless you think you can make me stay.
[Vergil draws his sword part of the way out, threatening the alien. The octo-scientist backs off, boxes raised with tentacles to show he means no harm.]
Okay, so you're obviously a little tired. Just remember to come back and get the rest!
[He waves cheerfully, as Vergil finally enters the Guide's video in order to pick it up. As he does, the boss is suddenly struck by inspiration.]
Oh! I know what to do! Here we go~ Take these with you!
What-
[Vergil doesn't event get the chance to argue before he's holding a box. The print in front of the Guide has "POPSICLES" painted in bold letters.]
Don't forget to eat all of them~
[The octopus guy probably senses danger, because he retreats from the room, door closing just as Vergil grabs a popsicle from the box and launches it at him. Apparently the alien is well-practiced at dodging icy projectiles, but with Vergil's speed it manages to slip in and hit him just before the door blocks it. A "GEH!" can be heard behind the door.]
Tch. So they do have a use.
