Yes, that's a lovely yukata with a pattern probably not intended for a guy. He can't be picky about what family lends to him though. At least it's tied up nicely, something plenty couldn't have done earlier ( Read more... )

They don't take responsibility for their actions because they actually believe it was never their fault, which is worse.

Had they been referring to the ordeal of how the water turned to liquor I would understand, but it's inane to believe every person had no control over what they take in and how much of it. I overdid it myself, but I'll admit it was out of horrible misjudgment on my part.

Exactly.

But on Thor, people like to blame everything else for their own mistakes. Perhaps makes them feel less pathetic.

Of all ways, that is not a dignified one to live. Burdens and mistakes can be denied, but not vanish.

Of course not. But something like this, they don't take very seriously.

I shouldn't say this, but I'm starting to believe that mixing free alcohol and mortal ignorance is a newer method of weeding out what is worthless in this world. Unfortunately that's more than any would like to see.

For such a vital law of living to be disregarded... That does not bode well for the future.

A lot of vital laws of living are being disregarded on Thor. Much more vital than that one, even.

I guess this setting removes much of normal consequences somehow. Alcohol can be poison in high amounts, and fatal events often occur under its influence. I've heard little of either.

Fatal is the least of their worries, believe me. [no one dies on Thor, after all]

But it's true. I'm also surprised no one got hurt or killed during all of this. They were all happy drunks.

Very few were actually violent, many just finding amusement at all this whether they were inebriated or sober. The novelty however, vanishes upon noone wanting to believe their actions or owe up to it.
