[Byakuya shows up on-screen once again, but this time he is back to his normal age, wearing his clothing (that fits correctly, of course), with the kenseikan fixed properly in his hair. Everything is back to how it should be.
Except, to a trained eye, to one who knows him, something is...off.
The stern countenance of his features has softened slightly, his shoulders are slumped more than usual, making him appear more relaxed. He holds a mug of steaming liquid and, if one looks closely, it's as if the corners of his mouth are...almost turned upward, on the way to a ghost of a smile.]
Is it...just me, or does the water seem to taste...different?
[But, regardless of his words, of any better judgment, Byakuya takes a sip of his drink, then blinks a couple times and scrunches up his face slightly in reaction to the vodka.
Vodka that he doesn't know is in his drink, even as he takes another sip.]
