[She looks down at the weapon clutched in her hand, seeing a gun that's not her own.]
[This uniform... Green? No, an officer of her station was bathed in crimson. And why was her blasted hair in her face? She remembers distinctly asking her soldiers to style her tresses into the usual pair of coiled braids tied back with pink ribbon.]
[Was this a trick? They had just apprehended those Gundam engineers. Did they escape? Were they responsible for this?]
[Her eyes scope her surroundings and she spots a nearby ball pit. Alien creatures. An entertainment center on one of the colonies? Finally, her gaze focuses on the man before her wielding a sword. Did he know anything about this? Perhaps an interrogation was in order. Whether or not this was her gun, it was in her hands. She fully intended to use it. Taking aim, she barks out a demand:]
Where are we?
[That's a stupid way to ask a question. The reminiscence is repeated but it no longer has any sting.]

[his back turns, and the thinned but still staring aliens part like a sea of undesirables as he makes to walk off]

[the next hour will be spent wandering listlessly; trying to blend in; fortunately not running into anyone who recognizes her which is no mean feat]
[and when her mind returns to her, the first thing she feels is an overwhelming urge to throw up]
[her psyche is at least kind enough not to let recollections remain]
[one minute she had been before him, the next she found herself collapsing in an unfamiliar hall]
