Three Pumpkins [KITTENS!!]

Before the guide comes into focus a noise could be heard. Several noises in fact, or rather, a series of noises. Mews. Soft, delicate meowing distinctly coming from a kitten. They were too high pitched and small to belong to an adult. When the camera finally comes into focus it shows a big bag of flour. It moves for a moment. Silence. Then shortly

[Who knows why Kanji happened to be passing when he is but that mewling and the unexpected thud of the bag falling gets his attention. He heads to the source of the sound, trying to pinpoint who or what, if anyone or anything, was responsible for the upset flour]

[Even as a kitten, Blair was a people person. She enjoyed the company of others and age did not change that. Her ears perked up when she heard footsteps. But when she saw just how BIG this person was she scrambled to hide behind the bag of flour. Strangers could be a dangerous and a tall guy like this was a little scary! Thankfully, she thought to herself (as much as a 5 week old kitten can) that she was likely a ghost now due to her new color. Maybe he wouldn't notice her at all.]

[Kanji frowned a little as he looked into the room and saw no-one there. An upset bag of flour, but no sign of the one responsible. Perhaps it had just fallen by itself?

But then, he notices some floury paw-prints and ventures further into the room, eventually catching sight of the kitten and crouching down.]

Hey. Little thing like you shouldn't be here by yourself.

[Oh no! The big human was coming closer. Blair instinctively backed up. Unfortunately, she only accomplished backing herself into the flour bag again. Black fur sharply stood on end, her claws fully extended. Meowing wasn't very scary, but dogs were! So maybe if she pretended she were a dog instead, then this guy would be afraid!]

Woof!

[ A kitten! A poor, defenceless kitten! Clearly this means she has to find out where it came from and help it.

It takes her a while, but at some point, shunpoing around the Thor, she hears some meowing. Following it, she finds the small kitten and plucks it into her hands, looking curiously to check whether it's doing all right. ]

[Blair mewled in surprise as she was picked up. She cocked her head curiously at the stranger. This was someone she had never seen before. But she was brave! This person didn't scare her! Blair wanted to show just how strong and courageousness she was! Looking right at the human she meowed, loudly, then bopped her lightly on the nose with her powdered paw. No one would be messing with this kitten!]

[ That's too cute, Suì-Fēng is just going to walk towards the closest shop so she can get some milk or something. ]

Hmmm, what's your name, I wonder?

[Good! Because if she doesn't eat soon she's gonna get cranky!]

[Little Canada (with little Kumajirou in arms) sees the floured-up kitty and shyly walks over.
His eyes full of concern he sets down Kumajirou then tentatively holds out his hand for the kitty to smell. Because you wait for animals to come to you, and don't go running after them. It's a rule.]

H-hello.

[A little human! Blair liked being around people--especially kids at this age. They wanted to cause just as much trouble as she did! Confidently, she walked right past Canada's outstretched hand and headbutted his ankles. The kitten performed a perfect figure eight around his legs, and then happily sat between them.] Mew.~

Ah- ah-

[The fur tickles, and the kitty leaves flour all over his legs and the hem of the oversized hoodie he's wearing.
But he's happy the kitty likes him!]

S-sorry, kitty. You're all floury! [He lets the long sleeves fall over his hands and grins a little]

May I clean you?

[She had tried licking herself clean before. The flour had gelled on her tongue and made her thirsty. The idea of a real bath was exciting! She loved to swim and the warm water would be relaxing. A bubble bath would be even better! Then she could stalk all the bubbles and pop them.] Yup!

[Five year old Ed knows the sound of a kitten when he hears it. Spotting the flour covered kitten, he crouches down and tries to gently dust some of the powder off.]

Huh. Where's your mommy?

[Ed's attempt at cleaning Blair only elicited another sneeze. She blinked slowly and wrinkled her nose in case another was on the way. A moment passed. When she was certain that another would not come she began to purr, rubbing her cheek against his hand]

[She understood him perfectly. When she opened her mouth to reply all that came out was a single meow--pathetic at best. Feline eyes filled with confusion. Why couldn't she talk? But with her younger body came a shorter attention span as well, and it wasn't long before she forgot why she was getting upset in the first place. She nuzzled against the kid once more before she sat down before him. She licked her paw. The flour gelled on her tongue and she spat, keeping her tongue out with a disgusted expression on her face]

[ Oh my god look at this adorable kitty! She crouches down and holds out her fingers for her to play with. ]

LOL I DON'T KNOW. But yeah, Blair pounced on her head >>

[Blair notices the child and approaches her without fear. She sniffs her fingers. Once. Twice. Then seems disinterested. Instead she imagines a bug in that big poofy pink hair. She crouches down, performs the mandatory butt-wiggle and then pounces on her prey!]

[ ..! She starts laughing and reaches up to the cat. She reminded her of her kittens back home. ]

What are you doing up there, silly?

at least she can speak sorta kinda.

[If cats could offer a facial expression of concentration and determination, that is what kitten Blair would be currently wearing. She swats with both paws at an imaginary point on the girl's head. Left! Right! No center! Darn this bug was fast!] Pum! Pum! Pum!
