[See Sora.
See Sora in what appaears to be a kitchen. Appears to be because who knows what it really is under all of that mess.
See Sora standing behind a cake, somewhat clumsily decorated, but who cares. He's proud of it.
See Sora smiling like an idiot. Why you may be asking? Because today is Sora's sixteenth birthday.]Hey guys! Guess what?
(

So have a Ventus poking his head into the kitchen.]
Hey there! Need some help celebrating?
Reply
But the mess really doesn't matter because someone's here! And he.... wow. He really looked like Roxas. But he couldn't be Roxas because he hadn't attacked him yet.
Which must mean he was just someone who looked and sounded like Roxas. Yes, that much be it.]
Hey! [Insert the biggest smile ever here.] Only if you want some cake.

He beamed at the answer, lighting up like Sora did, except with Roxas' face and trotted in, reaching for a plate and a piece of cake.]
How can I pass that up? And happy birthday by the way!
Reply
He cut the other a big, big slice of cake, plopping it down onto the plate before he glopped some extra frosting down onto the top.]
There. Now it's perfect. [Smile, smile, happy happy.] Thanks! I can't believe it's here already.

They sneak up on you right?
[He held out his hand.]
I'm Ventus by the way! But you can just call me Ven, all my friends do.
[And by the simple expedient of having a conversation, you are, of course, a friend.]
Reply
Yeah. It seemed like just yesterday it was Christmas.
[You'll have to excuse the hand he gives you since there's, you know, a little bit of frosting and cake on it.][And he instantly calls him by the nickname because hey, you've officially spent all of two minutes together. Which means you are now on his list of friends too.]
Thanks for coming. Celebrating is always better with friends.
Reply
Oh, no problem! I totally get it. Everything is better when you have friends.
So what's your name?
Reply
Sora. It's really nice to meet you, Ven.

He blinked at the name, frowning, trying to tell himself he should know it and not able to say why, though his heart did this weird little half-beat when he thought about it overly much. He let it go though, shoving it off and continued to clean his hand with his tongue, getting every last drop of icing he could.]
I'd have brought you a present or something, but I thought I should get here before all the cake was gone!
[He grinned sheepishly.]

[And it really was. Just getting to see his friends, the ones from home and the new ones he had made here, were the best birthday present he ever could have asked for.]
Riku brought me one, anyway. That's one more than I got last year, so it's a total improvement.

[He did not know Riku all that well, but he knew enough to know whom he was and to see the strange sort of resemblance between him and Terra. He knew Terra had been hanging around with him before he had arrived on the Thor and up until he vanished.]
Reply
[Seriously, his best friend had always been popular, but he didn't think he was that popular.]
Reply
I don't know him all that well, but he was friends with my best friend when Terra was on the ship. I've talked to him now and then since then, but not to often. Last I saw of him he was in a skirt.
